A A DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT April 21, 1981 MEMORANDUM TO: Dave Adkins Mooresville Regional Office FROM: Forrest Westall, Head Technical Services Branch SUBJECT: Seasonal Effluent Limitations - City of Charlotte Sugar Creek WWTP Technical Services has completed its wasteload allocation modeling for the subject facility per your request dated March 12, 1981. Adjusting the allocation model for winter 7Q10 flow and temperature resulted in the following effluent limits for Sugar Creek in accordance with rule 15 NCAC 2B.0404: Flow - 14.67 MGD BOD5 - 30 mg/1 D.O. - 5 mg/1 TSS - 30 mg/1 pH - 6-9 S.U. Fecal Coliform - 1000/100 mi Please note that this rule requires "a rationale as to the need for such limitations" be provided by the City of Charlotte. In addition, the summer limitations are: Flow - 14.67 MGD B0D5 - 21 mg/1 N83-N - 8 mg/1 TSS - 30 mg/1 pH - 6-9 S.U.
