Inspection Summary:
Routine compliance inspection with Thomas Johnson and staff; their assistance during the visit is appreciated. Permission
was given to access of all areas of the system requested during the visit. The staff were very knowledgable of all aspects of
system maintenance and record keeping. The City appears to be doing an excellent job with the system and is deemed
compliant with permit no. WQCS00268. Please note comments under the individual sections of this report, and let us know
if there are questions/comments

Comment: Current CIP is a ten year plan adopted in 2019. Some major components of the plan are
deactivation of the Decatur PS with flow redirection to Brookview PS (complete), replacement of
mains in areas of the city where street repaving is being performed (ongoing)

Comment: Staff uses interactive Mobile 311 system to record all maintenance activity, investigations,
grease trap inspections. The City uses a Mission SCADA system which appears to be very
reliable. All stations are connected to the system

Comment: All high water alarm systems functional with the exception of the Arlington on -site audio/visual
alarm (telemetry was functional). All stations visited were found to be clean, secure, relatively
free of grease, and free of significant corrosion
