Hello,

The N.C. Division of Coastal Management (DCM) received an email from NCDOT on August
18, 2022 regarding a modification request for additional temporary impacts to 0.086 acres of
404 Wetlands and 14 linear feet of streams for diversion channels that are needed to construct
the reinforced concrete box culverts at Permit Sites 3, 7 and 13. The proposed changes will
not result in any additional permanent impacts.

The N.C. Division of Water Resources (DWR) issued a Modification of the 401 Water Quality
Certification 004116 on August 25, 2022 (NCDWR Project No. 20161268 v. 6).

DCM has reviewed the updated information, and has determined that the project remains
consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.
