Since this came about last year there has been a lot of turn over and individuals taking different roles here at the city and some leaving. To give you a little back ground on what has happened I took over fully on June 20th of this year as the new Water/Wastewater Resource Manager role . Months before that we had a director retire and a assistant director leave . It has been challenging overcoming this and glad to say we have a handle on things now . I have looked back on old staff emails and gotten some of the plant ORC's to look back also we have found a response letter dated Oct, 20th of 2021. I am working on getting a response updated and back out to you guys. I would like to have some time to catch up with our engineers so I can provide the correct response with what has been looked into and also somethings that I know were looked at several months ago with grants. Thank you for allowing me to time to provide a letter back and I will get it out asap. Mr. Hinson: During the previous Compliance Inspection conducted at the Long Creek WWTP (08/25/2021) it was required that a written plan for alternative disposal of alum sludge from the Hwy. 52 Water Treatment Plant be submitted to the Mooresville Regional Office. As of to date this Office has no record of receiving the subject Sludge Management Plan. Please contact me as soon as possible to discuss this matter. Thank you Roberto L.
