The City and County's Contractor has requested permission to install a temporary ditch across the dirt road that separates the Murrill Brown Tower site and a preexisting ditch that runs along the City's property line. The purpose of the ditch is to temporarily dewater the construction site and to allow for the construction of the "pad ", on which the building, generator and fuel tank will installed. Neither you objected to the temporary installation of the ditch, but both stressed the importance of E &SC during the dewatering operation. I spoke with the contractor on this issue this morning and stressed the importance of the installation and maintenance of the E &SC measures that he and his Civil Engineer have developed. I also mentioned to him that Joanne may be making a site visit in the next couple of weeks. Joanne, if you make the site visit and have ANY issues, please let me know. I will immediate notify the City so they can have the issues addressed. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. . Bob Robert T.
