Drapac TRACY DAVIS D rector On September 28 2016 the Wilmington Regional Office of the Division of Energy Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR) inspected Ocean Isle Palms Phase 1 located off Ocean Isle Beach Rd (SR 1 184) in Brunswick County to determine the status of compliance with the State Stormwater Management Permit Number SW8 060338 last modified on May 22 2009 and transferred on November 23 2015 DEMLR file review and site inspection revealed that the site is in compliance with the terms and conditions of this permit Please find a copy of the completed form entitled Compliance Inspection Rcport attached to this letter which summarizes the findings of the recent inspection As indicated in the attached inspection report the following deficiencies have been resolved 1 Pond 412 and Pond # 14 For Pond 412 pond banks have been re graded and re seeded in many areas and overall the pond appears to be stabilized An engineer s certification has been received For Pond 414 the erosion in the right of way of Lucaya Circle has been repaired Vegetation on the pond banks has been cut back and the grass has been maintained An engineer s certification has been received Pond #21 Sediment has been cleaned out of the forebay This pond has been redesigned with a quantity of two (2) equalization pipes between the forebay and the main pond (reference the submittal received on October 7 2015) The engineering calculations show that the pond can handle a 10 year storm with two (2) 36 diameter pipes and an engineer s certification has been received for the pond The overall configuration of the pond remains the same and this change does not impact the specific design elements listed in the permit therefore we are not requiring a modification to the permit However we do ask that you submit an as built plan of the pond which can be submitted as a formal Plan Revision or as an Addendum to the Certification 3 Pond 413 and #22 This amenity pond has been completed with an outlet you submit the required Name/Ownership Change Form to the Division and receive approval from the Division to transfer the permit you are required to comply with the terms conditions and limitations of
