The intent of this project is to build a residential home on the property. General land use in the subdivision is residential with some commercial business just outside the subdivision boundaries. 4b. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used: * The residence will be a pile supported structure built with conventional wood frame construction with a pool, parking and stormwater retention areas to keep surface runoff on site. A retaining wall will be constructed around the perimeter of the pool and a portion of the house to raise site elevation to match existing upland grades. The result of the additional fill side slope increased the total wetland impacts to 3,450 square feet. To avoid and minimize wetland impacts the project has been designed with a retaining wall to reduce wetland impacts to 0.05 acres (2,116 sf). lb. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques: The construction of a retaining wall around the wetland fill area has significantly reduced the wetland impacts for the project. The retaining wall will reduce the wetland impacts by 40% and by doing this we avoided and minimized wetland impacts for the project. 2.
