On May 27, 2014, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received an application dated May 23,
2014 requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification from the Division for the subject project. The
Division sent requests for additional information on May 28, 2014 and on July 31, 2014. As of
today, the Division has not received a complete response to these requests.
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 0213.0233 (8), (b), the Division is unable to process your application.
For the reasons listed above, your application is hereby returned. Once you have addressed the
problems and/or inadequacies with your application as it was submitted, you will need to reapply
to the Division for approval including a complete application package and the appropriate fee.
Please be aware that you have no authorization under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act for this
activity and any work done within waters of the state may be a violation of North Carolina General
Statutes and Administrative Code,
