Site A: We decided the thin layer of sediment in the pie shaped wedge from the silt fence had been cleaned up sufficiently. We decided the spot with the thicker loss still needed some work. There was still an area of about 10’ x 4’ and 2-4 inches thick that we asked them to retrieve. The water went down some, so part of this area has been exposed since yesterday’s measurements. Site B: They were temporarily pumping water into a silt bag from within the stormwater system. This will be removed as soon as the crossline installation is complete. We decided their cleanup in the stream was complete except for the area just on the other side of the silt fence. The remaining stones on the bank of the stream will be removed and the bank will be reshaped and matted. We were told the crossline may be installed as early as today. One of us will visit the site again later this week for another update. Thanks, and let us know if you have any questions.
