Ammonia limit was changed in lieu of a toxicity test. Fecal coliform limit was changed to 200/100 ml. A letter regarding chlorine toxicity should be sent. Modeling work for this flow at this location was done by Juan Mangles in 1990. Using best professional judgement, and noting that Mosley Creek is a 50 to 100-acre freshwater swamp made by downstream beaver dams, Miller (Washington Regional Office) recommends that the discharge remain in the tributary. As a result of this recommendation, and as a result of the high quality effluent which normally is discharged from this plant, Technical Support concurs that the outfall does not need to be moved at this time. However as Mangles noted, DEM may require the • elimination of discharges to intermittent streams in the future. ru G C'u 6luuIC rnowc.tor1K lrlSha.ltik Special cheAdule Requfen}ents tf? and additional comments from Reviewers: l'u,dWw0,4/ cue - Recommended by: Reviewed by Instream Assessment: Regional Supervisor: Permits & Engineering: Durd Date: 57 8. /1 1 0 1991 Date: `J / Date: 4I/(I f ( - iu h4 CfL Date: RETURN TO 1'bCHNICAL SERVICES BY: RI 0 1991 PARAMETERS Rxisting Limits: Wasteflow (MGD): BOD5 (mg/1): NH3N (mg/1): DO (mg/1): TSS (mg/1): Fecal Co1.
