During the period of September 8th thru September 9" 6.2" of rainfall caused localized flooding. This
flooding

caused several manholes to become submerged in water which obviously allowed water stem in

that area. Once the system was surcharged, the Crouse Hinds lift station, which saw much

station to a level that would stop the overflow. Within minutes, the overflows stopped as we were
pumping down the lift station. The hauling continued until the station was able to adequately handle
the flows that were coming into the system. We also put lime out on affected areas.
