I have reviewed the above noted modification request and have the following questions/comments. Please note that
the application will be considered "on hold" until receipt of a response to the below items. Thank you.
1. While I recognize that R8 was previously permitted, it appears to be a road that does not connect to existing
infrastructure and therefore have no purpose. We recognize that the City may require the alignment for future
connectivity, however at this time, additional avoidance and minimization could occur by ending current
construction immediately before the stream crossing.
2. Please provide profile plans for impacts R14 or G9
3. Impact R7 is a culvert crossing of a wetland (no jurisdictional stream at this location). The profile plans indicate
that the culvert will be buried 1 foot. Burial of culverts within wetlands is not necessarily required, rather the
Division requires that hydrologic connection be maintained. Please review this location and determine if culvert
burial is necessary and to remain as proposed.
