It is outside the right of way and the maintenance corridor. Yes, we will have to mitigate for the area. No mitigation would be requirement for a 5 sq ft area for utility line maintenance just outside the easement per the buffer table. Below is a snip from buffer table of uses that I am basing this logic on. I was listed as the applicant and the Owner is the City. What address would have emailed me an application fee? I have not seen a payment option email to my knowledge but you never know with spam folder, etc. Let me know what else you need to process this. That sounds like it might fall under Removal of Woody Vegetation in Zone 1, which would be Allowable with Mitigation Upon Authorization, unless you can find an item in the Table of Uses that is more appropriate. I don't usually deal with the application fees. My guess is that the email was sent to whoever was listed as the applicant. I'm CC'ing Sheri Montalvo. Sheri, can you help them figure out how to get the fee paid? Hi Colleen, It is a small hardwood tree (hickory sp.) that falls outside the sewer easement and needs to be cut in order to place the temporary bridge across the stream. See answers below. We claimed it was 5 sq feet of impact. Can we arrange for payment today through you or do you send directly to myself or Whit Wheeler (COR)? I haven't seen anything requesting payment in my email thus far. Picture attached also. Hey Jessica, As soon as you need a Buffer Authorization, it triggers a threshold to require an Individual WQC, hence the fee. Is this tree dead, diseased, or damaged? NO Is the tree in danger of causing damage to dwellings, existing utility lines, or other structures? NO Is the tree imminently endangering stability of the streambank? Hi Colleen, I was going to contact you about this project and the COR Glenwood Ave project today so I am so happy you emailed. Sawmill and Harbor Drive will have a single small tree cut and therefore we were advised (meeting with agencies in January) to submit for a buffer authorization. We are not requesting a 401, only notification under 401. I am not sure why a project would be put "on Hold". The COR is waiting to hear back about this notification and the buffer authorization so that they can proceed with the sanitary sewer repairs. USACE (Lyle) sent us correspondence back a couple weeks ago to proceed under the NWP 58 for both projects. I attached the supplement information we sent in January to clarify some initial incorrect information for you. I would appreciate a call if you need clarification on anything. Thanks for reaching out. Hi Jessica, I noticed that this one got flagged in our system as a 401 & Buffer Authorization application, and it is in "On Hold" status. It looks like a fee request was sent out. Was this one supposed to be a Courtesy Copy?
