Sure. To keep you in the loop, I have sent Marla Chambers (NCWRC) an electronic copy of the permit package. I have
yet to speak with her though. Tried her office, mobile and email. The other main outstanding issue is the ESA
compliance. We have a field survey scheduled for the Schweinitz's sunflower for the week of October 6th during the
blooming window. NCDOT already has our complete (pending sunflower survey results) Programmatic Categorical
Exclusion which should be approved once the results are provided. This will satisfy remarks 3 and 4 of the incomplete
status letter. There will be no temporary or permanent jurisdictional stream impacts. Both crossings will be bridged.
Please let me know if you need any additional information for the time being. I expect to reply to USACE comments the
week of October 6th or the next week depending on the survey date.
