Thanks for the copy of your letter to Lionel Gilgo in reference to the Howland Rock Property
Owner's Association. After speaking recently with Daniel Govoni with DCM, the property
owners are proposing to delete the three boat slip additions from the project. Attached is a
letter from the Homeowner's Assocation. If the three additional boat slips are deleted from
the project, a re-classification of waters will not be necessary, and our office would not
have any comments on the dredging and riprap portion. Please give me a call if needed.

Sub: CAMA/ Dredge & Fill Permit Application, ER 07-1525
Reference Telephone conversation advised action to be taken by HRPO for subject
permit change.
It is our understanding in order to proceed with reference permit we must request the
three (3) boat slips be pulled from this project, due to poor water quality in this area.
In order to proceed at this time with the remaining two (2) increments in this permit,
dredge/ rock bulkhead, it is requested by HRPO three boat slips be deleted from the subj.
permit allowing HRPO to proceed with others.
Please advice of any further action allowing HRPO to proceed with dredging and rock
placement in the HRPO marina in reference permit.
