First, I had revised the PCN to address the issue that the UT to Cow Bog Branch is a Tributary and all impacts are to Surface Waters. There will be <0.01 acre of Permanent Surface Water Impacts and <0.01 acre of Temporary Surface Water Impact. The <0.01 acre (44.5LF) of Permanent Surface Water Impact is the actual culvert. And, the <0.01 acre (44.5 LF) of Temporary Surface Water Impact is for the dewatering, which will include the area for the relocation of the roadside ditch. The plans do show the placement of rip -rap on the downstream of the culvert. Immediately downstream of that area is an open water channel 20 ft +/- wide between the culvert and Cow Bog Branch. In our discussion, you had indicated that you thought that this project was Bridge 230336 which is just east of this project. Thus, your comment in regards to channel dimension, pattern and profile. I hope that my reply is acceptable and that the authorization of this project is forthcoming. Liz, please acknowledge receiving this email with the attachment. This is much easier that the fts. Bridge 230336 will be submitted in the next couple of weeks.
