Impact Justification and Mitigation 1. Avoidance and Minimization la. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project. The house was strategically set up according to the NCDEQ - Division of Water Resources Environmental Specialist - Joshua Brigham. The side deck is the only structure that is in question. According to the plot map the deck is about a foot inside the riparian buffer however when it was constructed we only built the deck 4' out from the house and 8' along the house to stay off the buffer. 1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques. The house was strategically set up according to the NCDEQ - Division of Water Resources Environmental Specialist - Joshua Brigham. The side deck is the only structure that is in question.
