In accordance with North Carolina General Statute § 90A-37, the Water Pollution Control System Operators
Certification Commission is required to classify all water pollution control systems.
Upon review of the subject permit and after discussion with the DWR's Asheville Regional Office staff the
Water Pollution Control System Operators Certification Commission has determined that the subject facility is
classified as follows:
• Grade 1 Biological Water Pollution Control Treatment System (WW-1) [15A NCAC 08G .0302(a)]
• Please note that 2x/week visits are still required for TRC monitoring.
The designated operators for this facility are appropriate for the type and grade so no action is required by
you at this time.
