INSTALLED TO PREVENT THE MOVEMENT OF SEDIMENT DOWNSTREAM.
15. CONSTRUCTION LIMITS SHALL INCLUDE ALL DISTURBED AREAS. ALL GRASSED DISTURBED AREAS SHALL

DRIVEWAY CULVERTS, ETC. CONTRACTOR SHALL REPLACE ROADSIDE SHOULDERS, DITCHES, CUT/FILL
SLOPES TO STABILIZED PRECONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS. ROADSIDE LANDSCAPING SHALL BE PROTECTED
18. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT EXISTING PAVED SURFACES. ANY DAMAGED PAVEMENT SHALL BE
REPAIRED TO MATCH EXISTING. TRACKED EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON PAVED SURFACES. ANY
PAVEMENT MARKINGS DAMAGED BY CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE REPLACED IN KIND BY A PAVEMENT

1. THOROUGHLY REVIEW ALL PARTS OF THIS PLAN. OBTAIN ALL NECESSARY APPROVALS AND
APPLICABLE PERMITS PRIOR TO LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITIES.
2. NOTIFY NCDEQ AND ENGINEER AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE THE START OF THE PROJECT.
3. FLAG AND/OR ROUGH STAKE WORK LIMITS FOR PHASE I.
4. CLEARLY FLAG EXISTING VEGETATION TO REMAIN PROTECT REMOVE PAYING PARTICULAR
INTEREST TO THE 15' NO DISTURBANCE BUFFER AROUND EACH OF THE 8 LOTS, AND FIELD
LOCATE ANY UTILITIES. CALL 811 PRIOR TO ANY LAND DISTURBANCE.
5. HOLD PRECONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE WITH OWNER, CONTRACTOR, ENGINEER, AND
APPROPRIATE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES.

6. NO MAJOR GRADING ACTIVITIES ARE TO TAKE PLACE DURING WET WEATHER OR DURING
PERIODS OF PREDICTED WET WEATHER. NO GRADING OR CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES ARE TO
TAKE PLACE IN THE STREAM BUFFER AS INDICATED ON THE PLANS.
7. INSTALL CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE, CONSTRUCTION ROUTES, AND STAGING AREAS. STABILIZE
BARE AREAS IMMEDIATELY AND APPLY TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT VEGETATION AS
CONSTRUCTION TAKES PLACE.
8. INSTALL SILT FENCING, WHERE SHOWN ON PLAN, TO PROTECT AREAS DOWN SLOPE OF THE
PROJECT AREA PRIOR TO ANY LAND DISTURBANCE. NOTE THAT SILT FENCE SHALL NOT BE
LOCATED WITHING 30 FEET OF THE STREAM BUFFER.
9. FINALIZE SITE GRADING ACCORDING TO PLAN. STABILIZE ALL DISTURBED AREAS AT THE END OF
EACH WORKING DAY. STABILIZE ALL DISTURBED AREAS IMMEDIATELY AFTER FINAL GRADE IS
ESTABLISHED WITH TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT VEGETATION AS DESCRIBED IN THE SEEDING
SPECIFICATIONS.
10. APPLY TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT STABILIZATION MEASURES IMMEDIATELY ON ALL
DISTURBED AREAS WHERE WORK IS DELAYED OR COMPLETE.
11. GRADED SOILS SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED ONSITE. STABILIZE ALL OPEN AREAS, INCLUDING
BORROW AND SPOIL AREAS. REMOVE AND STABILIZE ALL TEMPORARY CONTROL MEASURES
12. ONCE THE SITE CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE AND ALL DENUDED SURFACES ARE FULLY
STABILIZED; PIPES SHALL BE CLEANED OF ALL SEDIMENT/DEBRIS WHICH MAY HAVE
ACCUMULATED DURING CONSTRUCTION. SEDIMENT/DEBRIS SHALL BE DISPOSED OF PROPERLY.
13. PRIOR TO REMOVAL OF SILT FENCING, CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THAT THE SITE IS FULLY
VEGETATED AND THAT THE SIT EIS FULLY VEGETATE AND THAT REMOVAL OF SILT FENCE WILL
