HomeMy WebLinkAbout330065_Correspondence_20220524May 24, 2021 Office Scott Vinson Water Quality Regional Operations Section Division of Water Resources Raleigh Regional Office Mr. Vinson, I am sending this letter in response to the Notice of Violation letters for Farms 33-65 (Uncle B's) and 42-07 (Sessoms). I have taken the following actions against the items addressed in the Notice. I have taken the OIC class and will re -take the exam on June 10th, 2021. I will get an OIC with a current certification designated to Farms 33-65 and 42-07 until I receive my certification. The mortality at Farm 33-65 was ground and mixed with a carbon source and then placed back into the bins and shelter to compost appropriately. Temperatures were documented and reported to Dr. Kittrell and Mr. Keith Warren (with Advanced Composting) until required conditions were met. Compost is tentative for site removal and application within the coming week. My cost involved to date with the mortality composting solution is $9,300. Cost includes: grinder rental, carbon source, sand and labor. There have been no animals placed at Farm 33-65 since 2/19/2021 and no animals placed at Farm 42-07 since 11/20/2020. Sincerely, A thony Brian Sessoms
