There is no permit as one was not needed. This bridge had timber piers on top of a tall concrete footer (well out of the water). Some of these timber components were rotting so the timbers were replaced with steel and our crew was attempting to encase the new steel and end bent in concrete. This would of course not increase the footprint of the bridge. As you can see in the attached picture, one of the forms failed and concrete was spilled. Our forces responded immediately with the materials that they had on site and began clean -up operations immediately. Whatever damage to aquatic life there may have been is very likely over at this point. We apologize for the unexpected problem.
