Remarks and Recommendations:
- Project right from approx sta 28 to end of fill, stabilize slopes. Recommend permanent stage seeding.
- Approx Sta 32 to end, stabilize the ditch with seeding and matting. Seed /mulch slopes.
- Stabilize pipe outlets along toe of fill on right, end bent 2 side
-Clean out and refurbish special sediment control fence outlet at bent 1; Clean out accum silt in skimmer and behind silt check at bent
1
-Pipe inlet wetland 2: Install rock slope protection per plans. Install EC per plan in approaching ditch line. Insure inlet area is isolated
from erodible surrounding slopes. Repair gully at junction box above the skimmer. Divert runoff from top of slope to the skimmer with
berms or slope drain. Sediment loss occurred at this location so it is imperative to finish work on the wetland /pipe inlet area and protect
this area from further impacts.
-Pipe inlet wetland 1: Repair silt fence where undermined and recommend wattle break below rock checks. No erodible area should
be left outside the silt fence. Mat remaining erodible areas at inlet leaving main channel unmatted. Install berm or false sump behind
drop inlets at top of slope to direct storm water into the drop inlets.
- Realign orange safety fence to keep equipment out of jurisdictional areas.
-Open erodible areas thru out the project that will not be worked should be walked and temp seeded mulched to provide groundcover
and limit site erosion
- Westmoreland pit: Submit new revised plan with drainage areas and calculations per as built on the site. Direct site runoff into the
large basins wit diversions and stabilize the basin inlets with slope drains or spillways.
