Blake Farms Residuals Land Application Program

Dear Permittee:
The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted a review of the Blake Farms Residuals Land
Application Program on August 12, 2022. This review was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in
compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Non -discharge Permit No. WQ0012492.
The Annual Report Review was conducted by Division of Water Resources staff from the Wilmington
Regional Office. The following violation(s) were noted:
Inspection Area Description of Violation
Record Keeping The Division has not received submittal of the 2021 Annual Report, which is required on
or before March 15t, in accordance with Permit Condition IV.8.
On May 3, 2022, an extension was granted to submit the required report by July 1, 2022. To date, the Division has
not received the 2021 Annual Report. Action should be taken to correct this problem and prevent further
occurrences in the future. The Division of Water Resources may pursue enforcement action for this and any
additional violations of State law.
