3. USE HERBICIDES, PESTICIDES, AND FERTILIZER IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH THE FEDERAL INSECTICIDE,

MAINTAIN A RAIN GAUGE ON SITE AND KEEP RECORD OF THE RAINFALL AMOUNTS AND DATES.
6. OBSERVE STORMWATER RUNOFF DISCHARGES AND LOOK FOR CLARITY, FLOATING SOLIDS, SUSPENDED SOLIDS, OIL
SHEEN AND OTHER OBVIOUS INDICATORS OF POLLUTION AND EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE EROSION
AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL MEASURES. IF SEDIMENTATION IS LEAVING THE DISTURBED AREA, TAKE IMMEDIATE
ACTION TO CONTROL THE DISCHARGE.
7. KEEP A RECORD OF THE INSPECTIONS, RECORD ANY VISIBLE SEDIMENTATION FOUND OUTSIDE THE DISTURBED
LIMIT AND RECORD MEASURES TAKEN TO CLEAN UP THE SEDIMENT. MAKE THESE RECORDS AVAILABLE TO THE

5. CLEAR & GRUB AND BEGIN GRADING AND CONSTRUCTION OF LOW -FLOW CHANNEL. PROVIDE TEMPORARY GROUND
COVER /MATTING FOR LOW -FLOW SWALE WHEN BUILT. INSTALL CHECK DAMS IN SWALE THEN REMOVE STORM
DRAINAGE PIPES & STRUCTURES IN AREA UPSTREAM OF POND. CONTINUE GRADING. PROVIDE TEMPORARY GROUND
COVER AND STABILIZE NEWLY GRADED AREAS.
a. ALL CUT AND FILL SLOPES IS TO BE AT LEAST 3:1 SLOPE.
b. CUT AND FILL SLOPES WILL BE STABILIZED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF ANY PHASE OF GRADING.

APPLY AGRICULTURAL LIME AND FERTILIZER UNIFORMLY AND MIX WITH SOIL.
CONTINUE TILLAGE UNTIL A WELL PULVERIZED, REASONABLY UNIFORM SEEDBED IS PREPARED 4" TO 6" DEEP.
SPREAD SEED ON FRESHLY PREPARED SEEDBED AND COVER LIGHTLY WITH SEEDING EQUIPMENT OR CULTIPACKER AFTER
SEEDING,
MULCH IMMEDIATELY AFTER SEEDING AND ANCHOR MULCH USING EMULSIFIED ASPHALT AT A RATE OF 435 GAL /ACRE.
HYDROSEEDING
SURFACE ROUGHENING IS PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT WHEN HYDROSEEDING, AS A ROUGHENED SLOPE WILL PROVIDE SOME
NATURAL COVERAGE FOR LIME, FERTILIZER, AND SEED. THE SURFACE SHOULD NOT BE COMPACTED OR SMOOTH. FINE

APPLY LEGUME INOCULANTS AT FOUR TIMES THE RECOMMENDED RATE WHEN ADDING INOCULANT TO A HYDROSEEDER

IF A MACHINERY BREAKDOWN OF Y2 TO 2 HOURS OCCURS, ADD 50% MORE SEED TO THE TASK, BASED ON THE
