After much extensive research at the bank we finally have the issue resolved. We will be cutting a check this week for
the $100 plus the $25 fee. I apologize for the delay as we were awaiting answers from our financial institution.

This was the message from Wells Fargo: Truist did return the check to Wells Fargo with reason of "refer to maker".
The maker should go back to his bank with the copy of the returned item stamped with the reason (the image we sent
over to you) and have them research why they returned the check.

I believe this could possibly be an error on Wells Fargo's side. We received our May bank statement and it shows this
check as clearing the bank on 5/31/22. 1 am attaching a copy of the cleared check as well for your records. If you need
