The SW017 drainage area includes a paved road adjacent to Suck Creek connecting to the Ash
Stack Area. Recent increases in TSS are due to construction and additional vehicle traffic in this
area. Cliffside has taken measures to reduce TSS by installing rock check dams in the concrete
drainage swells, rerouting storm water back in to the work area for additional residence time,
minimizing vehicle traffic, and refreshing stone to the gravel road prior to the paved road
section.
