Comment: Analytical monitoring records were available but outlets 1 and 3 have had exceedances and
are in the Tier II response. Several improvements have been made to remediate these
exceedances including regrading the site and installing check dams to reduce TSS from the
aggregate bins. We discussed different methods for pH adjustment for the wastewater
discharge including carbon dioxide and recycling the water into the batch process.

Comment: Regrading the site has eliminated outlet 2 and improvements have been made to the other two
outlets to reduce benchmark limitation exceedances. The check dams at the aggregate bins
will require regular maintenance. Both of the valves for the secondarYcontainments were
open at the time of inspection. These valves need to remain closed until the discharge is
checked for a sheen and the visual inspection is documented.
