Dear Mr. Khan:
Pursuant to Part E, Section E-6, Table 4, Row 2-ii of the North Carolina General Industrial
Stormwater Permit NCG030000 with effective date July 1, 2021, CORMETECH, Inc. is
submitting the following notification.
Quarterly stormwater sampling conducted on 8/31/2021 (31 Quarter) and on 10/28/2021 (41h
Quarter) has revealed copper results in excess of the permit benchmark of 0.010 mg/L. The
table below provides details of the sample results.

In response to these copper benchmark exceedances, CORMETECH has taken the following
actions.
• Conducted a Tier Two Stormwater Management Inspection in effort to identify and
evaluate possible causes of the benchmark exceedances.
• Implemented feasible action plans to reduce concentrations of copper at the affected
stormwater outfalls.
• Implemented monthly monitoring for all permit parameters at Stormwater Outfalls 004 &
006.
