Project Description:
Widen Bridge No. 74 and Upgrade Interchange at US 220 and US 311/NC 135 (Future I-73).
The proposed project limits: along US 220 from Camden Road to approximately 1200 feet south
of River Road - 1.6 miles; and along NC 135 from 800 feet west of Dan Valley Road to 300 feet
west of Phil ott Road - 0.7 miles.
SUMMARY OF HISTORIC ARCHICTECTURE AND LANDSCAPES REVIEW
Description of review activities, results, and conclusions:
On October 31, 2018 a search of NC HPOWEB GIS Service map reveals that there are a number
of properties over the age of 50 years in the Area of Potential Effects (APE) for this project. An
architectural historian will need to conduct a site survey to determine if further evaluation is
required.
