Dear Mr. Vinson,

Franklin County Public Utilities is in receipt of MOV-2022-DV-0104 dated April 18, 2022. Events that led
to this sanitary sewer overflow was heavy rain. This area received three inches of rain in a time span of
less that 4 hours.

Franklin County Public Utilities has in the capital improvement plan for FY 23 a project to design a larger
force main that discharges the pump station where the overflow occurred. Franklin County is confident
that this project will greatly lessen the chance of future SSO’s occurring within the system.
