SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 18, 1999
On this date a Special Meeting was held at the Town Hall at 7:00 P. M. The
purpose of this meeting was to discuss the lease of land owned by Al Felton
located on 124 E. just beyond the City Limits. This land will be used for second
use of spraying treated wastewater. This use will give us extra points on our
application for the Sanitary Sewer Project.
Mr. Felton wants $2,000 per year for a period of five (5) years. Upon the
execution of this agreement the Town will pay Mr. Felton Five Hundred Dollars
($500.00), with the remaining Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) due on March
31, 2000.
A motion was entered by Commissioner R. B. Owens to accept the terms of this
agreement as attached. This motion was then seconded by Commissioner
Harold Stallings. Carried 3-0

'PHIS CAUSE, coming on to be heard and being heard by the undersigned Edgecombe
County Superior Court Judge, and it having been stipulated and consented to by the parties, and the
Court finding as fact the following:
1. This action was duly instituted on September 29, 2003 by the issuance of a Civil
Summons upon filing by Plaintiff of Complaint under CGS § 40A-40g"c and accompanying
Notice of Deposit, along with the deposit by Plaintiff of Twenty-four thousand one hundred eighty-
two ($24J82,00) Dollars, the sum estimated by Plaintiff to be just compensation for the taking of
the Defendants' property.
2. Each of the Defendants was duly served with a Civil Summons along with copies of the

3. All parties having Or claiming to have an interest in the condemned property are named
as parties hereto or have executed this Consent Judgment and are duly before the Court.
4. The parties have now settled all matters in controversy between them. The parties have
