RE: NOV-2022-PC-0294, Pender Packing WQ 0004075
We acknowledge that in the past we have not collected the required soil samples yearly and failed to
have the spray system calibrated. We also acknowledge that we had a few missing spray heads on the
spray system and that the feed tube on the NaOHCI supply barrel was disconnected due to a crack in the
line.
The Soil samples for 2022 have been collected and delivered to extension office in Burgaw on 8/4/2022.
Going forward ORC will make every attempt to ensure samples are collected yearly.
The Chemical feed line was repaired the day after the inspection and is fully operational and will be
better maintained going forward.
The missing spray heads will be reinstalled as soon as possible.
Attached is a copy of the hauling log for the grease/solids that are being hauled by Lewis Farms. This log
will be at the site for Lewis Farms to record the amount of material that is being hauled away.
