Dear Mr. Lambert:
On Tuesday, July 27, 2021, Alex Lowe of the WSRO conducted a routine Pretreatment Compliance
Inspection of the Davie County - Cooleemee pretreatment program. Acting Pretreatment Coordinator John
Grey, Water Resources Superintendent Michael Weir, ORC Tim Smith, and Administrative Coordinator
Joy Howard were present for the inspection. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is
operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No.
NC0024872. The full findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed
copy of the inspection report entitled "Pretreatment Compliance Inspection (PCI) Report."
Pretreatment Program Elements

Program Background
The program has only one SIU, Ingersoll Rand. The IUP was renewed on January 1, 2021, and an
inspection was conducted within the past 12 months (due to COVID-19 restrictions, the inspection was
conducted virtually, via telephone, with pictures of the facility provided by the SIUs representative).

Action Items
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required. The pretreatment program was found to be well -run and compliant upon this
