Organizations InwIved: Public Works Department Street Division E. Resoonsibilitics: 1. The basic responsibility for storm sewer maintenance lies with the Street Division. 2. The Street Division is responsible for the d: iris removal obstructing storm sewers located or, right- of-wa,.-s within the City Limits, The Street Division is responsible for el'minating ve: etat-on growth obst ucting the proper flow of storm sewers located on right-of-ways within the City Limits. See 1-ppendix "A". 3. Inspection and replacement of -,-he stor-m serer system located on city right- of-ways lies with the Street Division and Engineering Department- See A_,,.pcndix "A". Procedures: The following indicates guide lines for the commencement of each phase. 1. The Street Division inspects the storm se-wer bimonthly by: a. Recognizing and removing water flow obstructions b. Removing vegetation and silt buildup c. Repairing storm sewers as needed d. Replacement is scheduled and performe ' as is feasible 2.
