NOTE: ITEMS SHOWN IN BOLD ARE COMMENTS SPECIFIC TO WHAT WAS DISCUSSED AT THE PROGRESS MEETING I. Acceptance of Preconstruction Minutes from meeting that was held on Jily 10, 2014. — Minutes accepted with no comments, additions, or questions II. Unresolved Old Business A. None III. Shop- Drawings: A. Status of Shop Drawing Submittals — See attached for list of shop drawing submittals EB stated that some of the brands were misrepresented. EB to follow up with corrected list. IV. Easements, Encroachments, Permit Notification Requirements 1. No issues known to date V. Work completed (Through August 12, 2014) (D. Evansto Report) A. Anchors installed and tested. B. Approximately 40% of the sheetpile driven. Sheet piles were left 2' above final grade. C. Access road /parking area completed. No access issues reported by Owner. VI. Work Anticipated in Next Period (September 12, 2014) (D. Evans to Report) A. Sheet pile completed. B. Tie -backs completed. C. Plan on being substantially complete. VII. Schedule A. NTP was issued for .lily 14, 2014. B. 30 days through Contract as of August 12, 2014. C. 60 days remaining for Final Completion of October 12, 2014. D. Statusof monthly rain day form: (D. Evans Contracting to Report) — Additional daysto be requested by D. Evans VIII. New Issues/ Concerns/Submittals A. Sheetpile top elevation has been left two (2) feet above proposed grade. EB stated that the soil conditions are different and there is more resistant from the soil than was expected. Soils were a sandy soil in test reports however it seems that there is more clay in the soil. EB is currently looking at the possibility of leaving the wall two (2) feet high since the toe is in a more cohesive soil. Asa result sand may be required for approximately two (2) feet to relieve lateral pressure due to water being stored in the more cohesive soil. The sand will likely require filter fabric to maintain purity. B. Does the Creek Side of the sheet pile need to be cleaned up? IX. Safety, Traffic Control and Erosion Control A. WKD /ABC /D.
