SUBJECT: Request for registration rescission
Farm No. 80-02
Rowan County, NC
MRO staff conducted a site inspection of the subject facility
on October 16, 1995 and found that hogs are no longer kept at the
site. All animal pens and feed lot areas are being modified into
warehouse space for farm machinery and storage for fertilizers,
animal feed, etc. The lagoons are no longer in use; however, the,.
primary lagoon still contains sludge and evidence of
denitrification was found. The primary lagoon has approximately 5
feet of freeboard. The secondary lagoon contains only rainwater
and has about 6 feet of freeboard. This Office recommends that the
registration be rescinded after the primary lagoon is cleaned out
and filled in. For more information contact John Lesley.

Subject: Registration and Certification for 0.0200 Regulations
Please remove my registration from your list for the 0.0200 regulations. I have sold all of
my hogs and do not plan to produce hogs at this location anymore. I am working with
the Rowan Soil and Water Conservation District office to close out the facility, to insure
that there will not be a discharge of pollutants from the lagoon and surrounding areas.
