Attn: Brian Hutchison 2829 N Kerr Ave Wilmington, NC 28405 NORTH CAROLINA Environmental Quality Subject: Compliance Evaluation Inspection NPDES General Stormwater Permit NCG210000 Certificate of Coverage NCG210493 Mid Atlantic Timber New Hanover County Dear Mr. Hutchison: On July 20, 2022, Brian Lambe from the Wilmington Regional Office of the Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR), conducted a compliance evaluation inspection for Mid Atlantic Timber located in 2829 N Kerr Ave, New Hanover County, North Carolina. The following observations were noted during the DEMLR inspection (please see the attached addendum for additional information about your permit): 1) Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) has not been developed, recorded, and properly implemented. 2) Qualitative Monitorin¢ Qualitative monitoring has not been conducted and recorded in accordance with permit requirements. 3) Analyt(cal Monitoring Analytical monitoring has not been conducted and recorded in accordance with permit requirements. Sampling should be conducted according to permit immediately. Analytical monitoring must be uploaded to our website after you complete registration with the six step process for eDMR. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation during this inspection. Please be advised that violations of the NPDES Stormwater General Permit may be subject to a civil penalty assessment of up to $25,000.00 per day for each violation.
