Mr. Tankard:
In response to NOV-2022-LV-0478, We have been continuing to work on improving effluent
quality with some change. We were having difficulties in acquiring contractors that would return calls to
assist in making the necessary changes in plant processes and correcting known issues to the electrical
system and programming glitches. We are devoting our time and effort in putting together contracts as
quotes come in as quickly as possible while we have them available. I have currently three contracts in
final approval to correct the electrical issues, correcting the failed PLC programming in pump controls and
cleaning of the FEQ tanks and plant. I will forward a copy of the contracts to 419 Group/Core & Main,
Hydrostructures also known as Duke's Root Control and Gopher Utilities Services. I have also
incorporated the help of the County's IT Department along with Instrulogic and their Electrical Aide Team
in going through the plant programming and controls to assess the removal of F.R. Mahony/Amphidrome
programming and replace with an updated programming system whereby we have the assistance and
proper aide in troubleshooting real time with quicker response. They have already pulled the
programming to figure out what will be necessary to reconstruct the existing programming. We are
hopeful we will have the ability to make a rapid turnaround to begin the necessary changes to show our
efforts in becoming compliant. As soon as the contracts are approved, I will be forwarding copies to show
our commitment in correcting the issues at hand and continue working towards complete compliance.
