Attached is a brief summary of rainfall totals at RDU and at a CoCoRaHS station near the Slater Property. Rainfall during July was almost double the normal and the trend is continuing through the first 10 days of August. The NWS forecast is for about 50 % likelihood of more rain in the the Triangle Area today and tomorrow. My extensive search for a well- drained lot here in Wilmington has really paid off A CoCoRaHS observer located about 1.5 mi from my house has recorded 22.4 inches of rain since July 1.
