1. Avoidance'and Minimization
1 a, Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project.
Wetland impacts were limited ,to a total of 0,10 acre, which is,covered under a USACE Nationwide 18 General Permit The
house, parking, and wastewater system have been placed as far away from the wetland area as possible A retaing wall is to
be constructed to contain fill area to minimize additional fill for side slope Silt fence will be placed along fill, area to prevent
additional intrusion into adlacentwetlands
1b Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize, the proposed impacts through construction techniques.
The LPP wastewater system is being used to minrnmize the size of the septic field which will limit the amount of fill required to
meet the setback "from wetlands A retaing wall will be constructed to contain fill and limit additional side slope of the fill
Without a retaing wall and a side slope of 3 ,1 there would be an additonal 1,100 sf of wetland impacts
