Dear Cyndi;
Cedar Point Crossing received a NC Division of Water Quality 401 Certification dated
July 2, 2007 for impacts associated with a residential and commercial development
known as Cedar Pointe Crossing in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Cedar Point
Crossing discovered, while attempting to record lots, that their land survey was incorrect.
The project site was known to be 22 acres, however, the site plan was designed on an
incorrect plat of 24 acres. This discovery of the new property boundary may have a
significant affect on the existing site master plan. The owner is evaluating his options at
the moment, but will likely not be able to build the project as proposed.
As soon as a new site plan is prepared based on the disputed property line, the applicant
will submit the Final Stormwater Management Plan for written approval as required in
Condition 6 of the 401 Certification. We will also submit a permit modification for
written approval as well, if necessary.
