THE TOWN OF RAMSEUR HAS ELEVEN [11] PUMP STATIONS
The town also has approximately 34 miles of sewer ranging from 6 inch to
12 inches in diameter and over 4 miles of force main .

GREASE PROGRAM
The Town of Ramseur sends out grease control literature twice annually to
all customers in English and Spanish . We can enforce grease control
through our Sewer Use Ordinance .

SEWER RIGHTS OF WAY
The Town maintains our sewer rights of way with and mini -excavator with a
bush -hog attachment and with a tractor mounted bush hog . This is
performed a minimum of 3 times a year. All rights of way are accessible as
is all the sewage pump stations .
SEWER LINE MAINTENANCE
The Town cleans 10% or more of the collection system annually
concentrating on the worst areas . We also have a Root Control Program
with a reputable contractor who serves most of the United States .We keep
books in all pump stations with hour run times and other information .We
keep all main records at the Town Hall .
