On -Site Determination of Drainage Features Located within the Pasquotank River Basin, Express
Review
Dear Mr. Abbott:
On July 31, 2014, at your request, Mr. Roberto Scheller of this Office conducted an on -site determination of drainage
features located on the subject property. A stream determination was conducted in accordance with (15A NCAC 2B
.0259). The features are labeled as "14 -0803 A, 14 -0803 B, 14 -0803 C on the attached maps and initialed on July 31,
2014.
The Division of Water Resources (DWR) has determined that the feature labeled as "14 -0803 A" on the attached
maps and highlighted in blue is considered a stream. The features labeled as "14 -0803 B and 14 -0803 C" on the
attached maps and highlighted in red are not considered streams. The stream determination begins at a point Al,
highlighted in red, along Hwy. 34 and continues down gradient to point A2 (N 36° 25.852 ", W 761 05.242 "), highlighted
in blue, and continues down gradient to the end point A3 and rated 19 — 23 points (intermittent) on the NC DWQ Stream
Identification Form. The second feature, highlighted in red, begins at point B 1 and continues across the subject field to
point B2 (N 36° 25.743', W 76° 05.133') and continues down gradient to the wood line at point B3 and considered an
ephemeral feature. The third feature, highlighted in red, is located the back southeast section of the subject field, labeled
as point C1, and continues down gradient to point C2, also considered an ephemeral feature, and exist as illustrated on the
attached maps.
This letter only addresses a stream determination using the NC DWQ Stream identification Form and does not approve
any activity within Waters of the United States or Waters of the State. If you have any additional questions or require
