I was out on the project Friday and ran into one of the contractor's supervisors ( I don't recall his name) But, he was one
of the guys who had met with Josh when he visited the site. he took me by the location. The spot he showed me was
roughly 250 ft to the left of the stream crossing pipe, on the downstream end as shown on the plan sheet. It's just off
the toe of the slope. The spot had already been cleaned up. The guy I spoke with told me that based on what they
actually removed, the loss was probably a little less than one cubic yard. He thought that it originally looked worse
because it was the runoff of some of the clay material they had brought in for the road fill. He said the thickest part of
the material they removed was 3-4 inches deep in one spot.
I didn't walk all the way into the site to confirm it but, it didn't look like any of the material had reached the stream. I'll
probably go back by the site again later this week. The climate website said that the project took 1.27 inches of rain
sometime this weekend between Saturday and Sunday.
