I neglected to indicate on the plan for Mr. Roten, that the culvert will be placed in a dry channel. The plan should have
stated that a pump around should be in place before the culvert is placed. A sandbag damn will be placed upstream
from the proposed site, with a pump and pipe large enough to clewater the stream. A temporary impact of 10 feet
upstream and a temporary impact of 10 feet downstream will occur, additional to the 30 feet of permanent impact.
Thank you • your patience

Mr. Davis,
Per our phone conversation this morning, the 401 Water Quality Certification requires that all work be conducted "in the
dry'. Your application did not indicate that the stream channel would be dewatered during construction. Please clarify
that this project will be in compliance with this requirement and please indicate what length of stream will be
temporarily impacted (additional to the 30 feet of permanent impact) to accomplish dewatering. Thank you.
