General

If Yes, what are they? (This can reduce mailing to annual.)
Town has a booth set up a the annual strawberry festival to educate residents on FOG issues. This reduces
the permit requirement of direct mailing to customers from biannual to annual. This mailing can be
accomplished via wording on bill with instructions on how to access FOG information on the Town's website
Comment: Although the Town has legal authority to enforce a grease ordinance, inspection of commercial
users and review of pump out records is deficient due to staff shortages
Capital Improvement Plan
Has a Capital (CIP) or System Improvement Plan been developed and adopted?
Is it designated for wastewater only or does it have a dedicated section?
Does CIP cover three to five year period of earmarked improvements?
Does CIP include description of project area?
Does CIP include description of existing facilities?
Does CIP include known deficiencies?
Does CIP include forecasted future needs?

Comment: Town has not been cleaning 10% of gravity lines per year as required by the permit. The Town
is working on plans to install new drying beds at the WWTP in order to provide a location for
gravity and PS cleaning pump -out, as the existing beds had to be removed for installation of a
force main from River Landing. Also of concern is that the WWTP grit removal system is
currently non-functional. The Town has been working with the DWR regional office on this
issue
