Subject: Show Cause Meeting Animal Waste Management System Operator Certificate No. 18716
Dear Mr. Ward
You are requested to attend a Show Cause Meeting to be held at the Fayetteville Regional Office of the
Division of Water Resources on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 1:30 pm to discuss matters concerning
your certification as an Animal Waste Management System Operator. The regional office is located at
225 Green Street, Suite 714, Fayetteville, NC 28301. The meeting is requested based on operations of the
following facility:
Johnny Ward Farm, Facility 78-24, Permit No. AWS780024, Robeson County
The Division of Water Resources has concerns about proper operation of the waste management system
and record keeping requirements based on an inspection that was conducted by staff of the Division of
Water Resources Fayetteville Regional Office.
Please respond within five (5) days of receipt of this letter to acknowledge your desire to discuss these
concerns. If you fail to respond or do not show for the meeting, the Division of Water Resources will
proceed with disciplinary action. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact me at
