Inspection Summary:
Ron Boone, of the Winston-Salem Regional Office of the NC Division of Water Resources, conducted a compliance
evaluation inspection of the Alamance WWCS on 6/23/22. The assistance and cooperation of Arnold Allred, Operator in
Responsible Charge, was greatly appreciated. Inspection findings are summarized ed below and detailed in the
accompanying checklist.
Mr. Boone's overall impression of the town's collection system and it's operations and maintenance plan for the collection
system is favorable. Some notable items as listed below:
1. The town's last reported SSO occurred in April, 2018.
2. The town's CIP currently only has one programmed project, which is projected for completion in 2021/2022.
3. The town's map is excellent and contains all the required attributes. Please be sure to keep the map updated as new
construction is completed.
4. All required records were complete and current. FOG newsletters are sent twice per year along with water bills. All
documentation is reviewed by management as it is generated.
Mr. Boone noted no deficiencies or violations. Mr. Allred has established and implemented an excellent collection system
operation and maintenance program.
