Brad and Hannah,
We had a loss at Duplin Bridge 12 (BR-0017) due to rainfall at the site last night. Rob Mariano
reported approximately 1/3 of a cubic yard of material overtopped our SDO and deposited on the
creek bank/in the creek but it did not get beyond the turbidity curtain. The contractor has already
retrieved the majority of the material but may need to get a little more. The washing as a result of
runoff from the recently completed bridge deck coming at a new angle to the slopes. This will be
resolved when the shoulder berm and gutter and the drop inlet box are installed. They are going to
install additional wattles in the flow pattern for the washed area in the meantime as well as replace
the wattle at the SDO.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Sean Farrell
