The purpose of the evaluation was to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Collection System Permit WQCS00100. Derek Williams, ORC, and staff were present during the inspection. The Town of Morehead City has 37 pump stations. All stations have telemetry and 29 are connected to SCADA. The Town's flow is approximately 1.5 MG and is pumped to the Morehead City WWTP for treatment. Paper records were available for review and were detailed and complete. The Town's use of Munis asset management software allows staff to manage the system more efficiently by tracking inventory, maintenance hours and generating work orders. The GIS mapping of the entire collection system continues with a budget of $50,000 a year. Pump Stations #6 and #7 are bugeted and scheduled to be updated soon. Seven pump stations were inspected during this inspection. The Town of Morehead City is compliant with Collection System Permit WQCS00100. Please review the comment sections of the inspection report for more details.
